So why are we talking about the yield curve again? Well, when the 10-and-2 yield curve spread has inverted in the past, an economic recession has sometimes followed. Around two weeks ago, we saw a brief inversion of this yield curve. Does this year's inversion mean anything?

We'll define the yield curve components and give context for where we are today.
